Apply for 2024 Camp Staff

Looking for a fun and rewarding summer job where you’ll make life-long friends and have great experiences? Look no farther than Ingersoll Scout Reservation Summer Camp Staff! When looking back on our time on ISR staff, we see fun times and good friends, but more than that we see the faces of thousands of young Scouts whose lives have been positively impacted because of the programs put on at camp every summer by the exceptional, enthusiastic, and empowering ISR Staff. Camp staff represents all that Scouting is- from teaching essential Scout skills through the aims and methods of Scouting, to mentoring and inspiring young minds to think outside of the box, challenge themselves, and become inspiring leaders themselves. More importantly, camp staff serve as role models exhibiting every point of the Scout Law and motivating tomorrow’s leaders to be trustworthy, loyal, helpful, and kind as much as they are brave. If you want to inspire youth to live by the Scout Oath and Law every day, and have a blast doing it, read more here and submit your application for the job of a lifetime.

Program Director – Jamie Lang

Please give a loud, enthusiastic Ingersoll welcome to Jamie Lang, who will be returning to staff as your 2022 Program Director! Jamie started on ISR staff in 2014 and has worked at both the climbing tower, as well as the commissary. And now for a few words from Jamie herself! “Hey party people! I’m incredibly pumped and honored to be returning to ISR in the role of Program Director!! Since I was last at camp … I’ve done the whole college thing, worked as an IT professional for about 7 years, and lived in a school bus (yes, you read that correctly). Lately I’ve been enjoying life hopping from place to place, state to state, and soaking up all that the great outdoors has to offer – all with my cat companion Z on my back. Z and I can’t wait to get started on making ISR 2022 the best summer yet! Go camp!”

Camp Director – Mike Gray

We are excited to welcome back Mike Gray, who will be returning to Ingersoll as Camp Director for summer 2022! Mike is an Eagle Scout from Peoria (Troop 28), and an active Vigil Honor OA member of Wenasa Quenhotan Lodge. In addition to ISR staff, Mike also served as a Cub Scout Camp Director for Stearns Scout Camp (South Haven, MN) and he has also served on National Camping School staff. Professionally, Mike works in the Information Technology field as a network/systems engineer. Welcome back, Mike!
